To apply through our UWC national committee, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Age requirement
Applicants must be between 16 and 18 years old at the time of enrolment. This typically aligns with students entering the final two years of secondary education, but specific age requirements may vary by UWC school or college.
2. Educational background
Applicants should be currently enrolled in, or have recently completed, Mattayom 4 (Grade 10) and not beyond Mathayom 6 (Grade 12) according to the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2544 (2001) of the Ministry of Education, or any other curriculum in Thailand recognized by the Ministry of Education as equivalent (e.g., international schools).
- Applicants must have completed Mathayom 3 (Grade 9) or its equivalent by the date of application submission.
- Applicants must have been born between September 1, 2007, and September 1, 2009.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.25 throughout upper secondary education or an equivalent academic performance.
3. Residency and nationality
Candidates applying through UWC [NC Name] must:
- Be a citizen of Thailand, and/or hold a Refugee status or stateless person currently residing in Thailand, with supporting documents required for the issuance of travel documents in the event of selection (to be considered on a case-by-case basis).
